Job Summary
Senior-level electrical engineering role focused on facility electrical systems in a manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include design, installation, operation, and maintenance of power distribution, lighting, grounding, and emergency power systems; collaboration with Facilities Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and Production to minimize downtime; troubleshooting electrical issues affecting building systems and manufacturing equipment; reviewing electrical drawings and specifications; coordinating with contractors, vendors, and utility providers; ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards; supporting capital projects, renovations, and expansions with electrical input and field oversight; assisting with preventative maintenance and reliability improvements; participating in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions; maintaining documentation, drawings, and asset records related to electrical systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training and experience
- Experience working with industrial or manufacturing electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safe work practices
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
