Senior Staff Device Characterization Engineer

Job Summary
Oversee and maintain test equipment including HP4062/4073 testers, Cascade full-temperature probers, and Agilent B1500 manual probe stations. Perform measurements on wafer level and package parts, covering process characterization, EPROM testing, I-V curves, and reliability tests like HCI and HTRB. Conduct transient manual measurements such as gate charge and reverse recovery, and execute S-Parameter measurements using HP8753D and IC-CAP software. Develop new software as needed by the device development and modeling team and collaborate to debug test chip programs. Upgrade hardware and software to meet evolving testing requirements. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years in semiconductor device characterization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor device characterization
- Familiarity with HP RMB or SPECS
- Familiarity with Unix systems
- Proficiency in using various electronic lab equipment, including but not limited to: Automated probers, Semiconductor parameter analyzers, S-parameter systems
- Experience in semiconductor layout using tools like Cadence Virtuoso
- Knowledge of underlying device physics of tested devices
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Splus/R, Python, MatLab or JMP a plus
