Senior Staff - Corporate Accounting

Job Summary
Manage full-cycle fixed asset accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation, disposals, transfers, impairment considerations, and related balance sheet reconciliations. Record and reconcile accurate general ledger transactions, ensuring proper coding and support under International Financial Reporting Standards. Participate in the month-end close process, prepare assigned journal entries, and execute risk-based open item reviews to identify and resolve aged items. Support internal and external audits by preparing accurate documentation and schedules, while performing bi-annual inspections of assets and warehouse inventory. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely settlement of expenditures and capex reporting. Utilize AI tools to improve efficiency in fixed asset and close activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a four-year college or university
- 4-6 years of accounting experience with responsibility for General Ledger maintenance, monthly close participation, and account reconciliations
- Experience working with and providing support to cross-functional business teams
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies
- Strong attention to details is of paramount importance in this role
- Diplomacy and ability to deal with difficult situations
- Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills
- Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word & Excel)
- V-lookup and Pivot tables (Macros a+)
- AI tool implementation and usage skills in the job function
- Attitude towards work and timeliness in completing daily tasks
- Sense of urgency to get it done required
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Fixed asset accounting experience preferred
- CPA preferred
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred
