Senior/Staff AV Training Program Manager

Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end strategic design and continuous improvement of core VO and FS training curriculum at Waabi. Develop comprehensive training policies and learning practices aligned with operational goals. Ensure rigorous version control and audit-readiness of training documentation. Manage new-hire onboarding and professional development programs, collaborating with operational leadership. Provide mentorship and leadership to the Training Specialist team. Design a performance scale to track skill development and measure training efficacy. Conduct audits for instructional consistency and partner cross-functionally to integrate tech updates into training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in L&D, training, or operations within transportation or AV industries
- Minimum 3+ years of direct people management experience, specifically scaling programs or leading strategic curriculum design
- Proven experience vetting, selecting, and implementing a new Learning Management System (LMS) from the ground up
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff and a passion for self-driving technologies
- 10% travel required
Desired Qualifications
- Direct experience training personnel on the operation of Class 8 vehicles or similar complex machinery
- Advanced experience with e-learning content creation
