Job Summary
Perform and maintain accurate account reconciliations, ensure financial records are complete and reliable, assist with month-end and year-end processes, prepare financial reports, and support the Town's overall accounting and financial management functions. Manage payroll, budget development, investments, and auditing for a $12.2 million annual operating budget. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:00am to 5:30pm for 40 hours in an in-person role within the Finance Department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Several years of municipal finance or governmental accounting experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- In-person position availability (not remote)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with TRIO software
