Senior Staff Accountant

Own and systematize account reconciliation processes by creating repeatable monthly procedures and effective review checkpoints. Partner with the Director of Accounting to strengthen accounting processes, procedures, controls, and best practices. Review accounting work product, identify discrepancies, and ensure errors are corrected promptly. Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, account analyses, and supporting schedules. Research and apply GAAP principles while providing technical accounting support and documentation. Help optimize NetSuite and identify opportunities for automation, technology, and AI within accounting operations. Assist with audit preparation, compliance activities, and financial reporting support. Provide guidance, training, and quality review for accounting team members. Identify inefficiencies and develop practical solutions that improve accuracy, consistency, and scalability. Bring a proactive, systems-oriented mindset to an evolving accounting environment. Requires 2+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree, and NetSuite proficiency. Based in Salt Lake City, UT, with hybrid work options.
