Senior Staff Accountant

Orchestrate monthly and quarterly financial closes for Upstream E&P operations, managing complex journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet analyses. Reconcile oil, gas, and NGL revenues while supporting joint interest billing and royalty payments, and monitor cash flow activities to ensure optimal liquidity. Act as the central contact for vendor inquiries, validate invoice accuracy, and oversee corporate credit card administration. Uphold U.S. GAAP standards by facilitating annual audits and contributing to internal reporting for management and regulatory bodies. Leverage ERP expertise to streamline processes, troubleshoot inquiries, and develop insightful financial reports. Cultivate cross-functional relationships with operational, land, and engineering teams to ensure accurate data capture and identify workflow improvements. This full-time, in-office role in Downtown Dallas requires 3-5 years of E&P accounting experience and offers a competitive salary range of $80,000–$95,000 plus a performance bonus.
