Job Summary
Senior-level accounting role responsible for managing complex accounting activities, leading or significantly supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and supporting audits and process improvements. Requires strong technical accounting knowledge, ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally with Operations and Payroll, preparation of journal entries and reconciliations, analysis of variances, and development of management reports. Prior experience with ERP systems (preferably Syteline), experience in manufacturing/cost accounting, and CPA-eligible status are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably Syteline)
- Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Public accounting experience
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
- Exposure to cost accounting
- Experience supporting system implementations or process automation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
