Senior Staff Accountant at Koons Tysons Chevrolet Buick GMC within Asbury Automotive Group. Responsibilities include fixed assets accounting, processing journal entries between the Dealership Support Center (DSC) and Dealerships, establishing and monitoring prepaid/accruals, ensuring amounts are expensed in the appropriate period in accordance with GAAP and company policy, contributing to exceptional guest experiences, maintaining a clean and organized work area, determining proper accounting treatments for purchase orders/invoices, preparing journal entries, updating models/templates for consolidated invoices, coordinating with the Director of Corporate Accounting/FP&A, maintaining monthly recurring payment logs, preparing intercompany statements and accruals, and reconciling corporate ledger accounts, with opportunities for cross-training and professional development.
