Job Summary
As a Senior SRE at January, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of production and internal systems, establishing SRE practices from the ground up. Responsibilities include leading incident response, developing self-service observability solutions, and maintaining infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform. You will work with feature teams to architect resilient infrastructure, implement robust CI/CD pipelines, and advocate for best practices in feature design. Successful candidates will have experience in high-availability systems, effective monitoring and observability solutions, and communication skills to collaborate across engineering teams. Required Qualifications
- Experience designing highly available deployment architectures across multiple targets (e.g. EC2, Fargate)
- Expertise in auto-scaling, health checks, and graceful degradation strategies
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, ELK
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
Desired Qualifications
