Job Summary
Senior SRE to join CCC Site Reliability Team. You will triage and resolve application/infrastructure issues, develop automated solutions to reduce manual tasks, and drive scalability and resiliency improvements. Responsibilities include responding to NOC escalations, creating remediation processes, building reliability and observability into systems, handling high-severity incidents with blameless postmortems, participating in on-call rotations, and collaborating with DevOps, software developers, DBAs, network engineers, and security. Requirements include Azure production experience (2+ years), 5+ years with Microsoft tech, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, automation and DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub), Terraform/Bicep/ARM deployment, and exposure to large-scale architectures; plus comfort with virtualization, cloud infrastructure and APIs, cloud networking, and presenting operational artifacts to leadership. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with the Azure tech stack in a production capacity
- 5+ years operational experience working with Microsoft technologies
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or relevant engineering fields
- Comfort and experience with Ops environment growing at a rapid scale
- Knowledge of Virtualization, Cloud Infrastructure and APIs
- Knowledge of cloud networking and how to troubleshoot issues in this space
- Experience preparing and presenting operational artifacts to senior management
- Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub) and processes with a focus on automation
- Familiarity with technical considerations involved in designing for complex systems at large scale both with monolithic and microservice architectures
- Production troubleshooting skills that span systems, networks and code
- Experience deploying Cloud resources from code using tools such as Terraform and/or Bicep / ARM, PowerShell or Azure CLI
- Proficient in leveraging AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency and streamline operations
