Senior Speech Pathologist P2

Senior Speech Pathologist P2 providing a comprehensive speech pathology service to adult inpatient and outpatient populations with swallowing and communication disorders. Leads and develops the team through student supervision, mentoring and support of colleagues, and fostering clinical capability growth across the service. Responsibilities include planning, implementing and evaluating treatment programs (including group programs); acting as a consultant in adult communication and swallowing disorders to internal and external stakeholders; working effectively within a multidisciplinary hospital team; managing caseload and time; advanced interpersonal and communication skills in a complex clinical environment; and contributing to service development/quality improvement projects. Desirable: credentialing in VFSS and/or FEES. Must meet SPA membership requirements; roles may include permanent full-time or maximum-term contracts with potential for part-time job sharing. Location: Joondalup Health Campus, Joondalup, WA, Australia. Must provide or complete police check; Working-With-Children Check and immunisation may be required depending on role.
