Senior Speech Pathologist

Job Summary
Senior Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Newcastle and Hunter region with a community-based caseload spanning homes, schools, and outreach; work with individuals across the lifespan including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults; address feeding, dysphagia, and AAC; conduct observations and standardised assessments to set participant-centred goals; deliver evidence-based therapy to build communication, participation and independence; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes; caseload tailored to experience and goals; mentor graduates and early career clinicians; flexible design of work hours (full or part-time) with opportunities for home visits and access to office/clinic spaces.
Required Qualifications
- Current Speech Pathology Australia membership with SPA
- Experience as a Speech Pathologist or Senior Speech Pathologist beyond graduation
- Passionate about community-based support for people with disability
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
- Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians
