Job Summary
Conduct assessments, write reports, and provide direct treatment individually to children ages birth to 18 with varying disabilities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, offer parent education, and participate in family team meetings. Supervise clinical fellows and speech-language pathology assistants while assisting the department supervisor with daily operations, scheduling, and staff meetings. Complete intake, progress, and discharge reports within established deadlines. Maintain licensure and continuing education units. This role supports the interdisciplinary therapy team at our Tarzana and Valencia locations, serving clients with backgrounds in autism, AAC, and neurology.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or equivalent Speech Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution
- Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of California
- 5 years of experience as a licensed clinician
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- coursework and/or experience in the areas of AAC, CAS, autism, and a strong background in neurology
- Previous pediatric treatment experience
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a reliable car, proof of auto insurance and a valid driver's license
- Proof of immunization records and TB
