Job Summary
Senior Specialist for Real Time Payments (RTP) and Wire Transfer Services. Focuses on production support, coordinating workflows, handling first-level escalations, and acting as a subject matter expert to guide the RTP/Wire Transfer team. Responsibilities include researching wire requests, communicating with internal partners and external clients about wire status, managing electronic funds transfers between banks using the Wire Operations systems, researching issues per SLA, minimizing client errors and privacy breaches, training staff, developing or revising procedures, and designing process improvements. Requires deep knowledge of payment processing, regulatory requirements, and related applications; strong analytical, communication, and client-delivery skills; experience with data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid work arrangement with locations in Brooklyn, OH and Albany, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Comprehension and understanding of payment processing
- Working Knowledge of Wire and RTP laws and regulations
- Ability to follow internal procedures alongside relevant regulatory requirements
- Skilled navigating various systems and applications to address everyday problems
- Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Proven ability to understand and work with technology or systems
- Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
- Experience managing client-facing deliverables with SLA requirements
- Demonstrates ability to present and translate complex issues via clear and concise communications (verbal and written)
- Ability to remain flexible and effective in a fast-paced team environment
- Skilled in handling tasks and emails via a shared Outlook inbox
