Job Summary
Senior Specialist supports clients, Portfolio Strategists and investment dealer advisors through accurate and efficient execution of trades, leveraging broad knowledge of products, services, procedures and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include handling incoming telephone and email contacts, completing suitability assessments and assisting with KYC, executing client trades in compliance with industry and company rules, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of policies and market regulations, upholding CIRO registration standards, participating in special projects, and completing educational requirements to maintain registration proficiency. The role is based in Montreal or Winnipeg with a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO or as Investment Representative (IR) and willing to become a RR within 90 days from start date
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years’ experience in the financial services industry
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Strong oral communication skills
- Proven problem solving methodology
- Accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills
- a) Knowledge of French and English is required to support clients and team members within and/or outside the province of Quebec
