Job Summary
Senior Specialist - Technical Sales responsible for leading the technical and commercial aspects of the sales cycle, delivering presentations and product demonstrations, providing pre- and post-sales support, acting as a domain expert, guiding account representatives to identify and close opportunities, and traveling to engage clients. The role emphasizes hands-on technical product knowledge, collaboration with engineering consultants, and maintaining relationships with vendor product managers while growing growth opportunities in the electrical industry. The position requires strong communication, technical competency, and the ability to perform in-person client engagements in Burnaby, BC.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or Equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or Business preferred
- 3+ years Electrical industry experience as a manufacturer or distributor
- 5+ year Sales experience in related industry
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel 5% - 15%
