Job Summary
Execute complex tax compliance, provision, and advisory activities across the organization, including US corporate structuring, federal and state filings, and property tax matters for data center assets. Manage technical tax research, audit documentation, and risk assessments while providing guidance to finance and business teams on policy application. Evaluate tax implications for M&A, restructurings, and new ventures, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to embed tax considerations into business decisions. Maintain compliance toolkits, support regulatory changes, and contribute to process improvements within the tax function. This role requires minimal supervision and operates within US business hours with some travel.
Required Qualifications
- 6–10 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, international tax, sales and use tax, property tax
- Experience with tax compliance, provisions, audits, and advisory work in multi-entity or multi-jurisdiction environments
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex tax matters with limited supervision
- Proficiency with tax and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, OneSource, Vertex, Avalara) and advanced Excel skills
- Some Travel required
- Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection
- Perform work during US business hours and time zones
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance / accounting or related field preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Registered with a professional body as Tax Practitioner
- Experience within the Data Center, real estate or infrastructure industries an advantage
- Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP) and tax provisions
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage complex tax matters independently
- Experience working in global environments
- Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical tax matters clearly
- Organized and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
