Job Summary
The Senior Specialist in the Supervision Section of FSRA will assist in implementing the supervisory framework and supervising a portfolio of financial institutions in line with FSRA regulations and risk appetite. Responsibilities include supervising compliance with regulations, conducting periodic risk assessments, drafting and executing supervisory work plans, and taking action against deficiencies. The role requires financial crime prevention experience and strong communication skills. The candidate should possess a bachelor's degree and have 6-8 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Min 6-8 years of experience of financial supervision or industry experience in asset and wealth management, Funds, Contracts for Differences and/or Virtual Assets.
- Good communication skills both in writing and orally.
- Results-oriented team player.
- Good influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse professionals.
- Entry level planning, organisation and analytical skills.
- Fluent in business English.
Desired Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Finance, Banking and Accounting, Risk Management, Law or related disciplines.
- Proficient in Arabic or other language(s) and understanding of the Arabic Culture.
