Job Summary
Lead the implementation, review, and continuous improvement of governance frameworks, processes, systems, and supporting documentation. Provide specialist advice on risk, compliance, insurance, and business resilience while translating strategic requirements into practical solutions. Analyze compliance breaches and insurance claims to identify trends, conduct assessments for corrective actions, and monitor legislative developments. Prepare reports and dashboards for governance forums, facilitate risk assessments and business continuity activities, and deliver training to strengthen organizational capability. Act as the primary technical resource for complex matters, mentor team members, and build effective stakeholder relationships to support organizational maturity.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in risk management, compliance, governance or a related discipline
- Valid driver's license
- Current and valid Working with Children Check
- Criminal History check (police check)
- Experience implementing and improving risk, compliance, insurance or governance frameworks in a complex organisation
- Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills, including facilitating workshops and providing specialist advice
- Experience leading reviews, assessments and continuous improvement initiatives, with the ability to mentor, coach and develop others
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification (or progress towards certification) in risk, compliance, governance or business continuity
