Senior Specialist, Project Engagement (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Summary
Create and manage stakeholder outreach strategies for Transmission and Distribution projects, coordinating with SMEs and external groups to ensure clear messaging to property owners, municipal officials, and regulators. Lead a team of field outreach representatives, overseeing their contracts, monthly invoices, and daily execution of outreach tactics for rights of way and station activities. Provide guidance on escalated stakeholder issues, manage risk to project scope and cost, and lead ROW Work Coordination meetings to align cross-functional disciplines. Develop project-specific collateral materials, manage public logistics for permitting hearings, and coordinate impact mitigation plans for construction activities. Work with subject matter experts to train contractors on public interaction standards and resolve disputes regarding property damage or business interruption. This role requires working at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with primary responsibilities in Western Massachusetts.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to work up to five days in the office if needed

- Strong leadership capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to provide both strategic insight and perform detail-based analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record in planning, coordinating, and managing various projects
- Ability to interact effectively with property owners, businesses, municipal officials, business organizations, environmental groups, and community-based organizations
- Basic understanding of Federal and state siting and permitting requirements
- Foundational understanding of transmission and distribution rights of way and building of related facilities
- Valid motor vehicle license
- Must be available to work emergency storm assignment as required
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
- Minimum of five to eight years utility, community outreach, project management or related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Management, Communications or similar discipline or equivalent experience
