Job Summary
Senior Specialist to join the Production Services Payments Enablement team. Located in Pittsburgh (PGH). Responsible for supporting critical financial systems and interfaces that enable secure, accurate, and timely processing of transactions and messages across internal platforms and external financial networks. Focuses on monitoring and supporting a suite of business-critical applications, ensuring reliable routing, translation, and processing of financial messages. Plays a key role in maintaining system stability, resolving production issues, and coordinating across teams to support operational excellence. Requires strong Linux/ AWS experience, familiarity with mainframe integrations, production support, incident management, root cause analysis, change management, and effective cross-team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 4-6 years of experience in applications support or production environment
- experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
- Strong experience supporting Linux-based production environments
- Experience with AWS infrastructure, services, and cloud-based operational support
- Working knowledge of mainframe systems and integration with distributed platforms
- Experience in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with high-availability transaction processing or messaging environments
- Strong understanding of application deployments, change management, and implementation support
- Ability to manage risk, prioritize issues, and work effectively in high-pressure production environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and locations
