Senior Specialist - Production

Job Summary
Manage production teams and operations according to Autoliv Production System (APS) standards, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and work instructions. Monitor production performance, analyze quality reports, and execute corrective and recovery actions to meet customer demand. Drive plant performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity metrics while implementing Lean Manufacturing, JIT, Jidoka, and Visual Management tools. Lead daily meetings, optimize line balancing and manpower, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Work in a shift-based, 6-day week environment supporting cross-functional teams and crisis management initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / BE (Mechanical, Automobile, or related discipline)
- 6 to 15 Years
- hands-on experience in production management
- experience in lean manufacturing
- team leadership within the automotive industry
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or assembly operations
- English (Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience managing production operations independently
- Flexible to work in shifts
- Willingness to work 6 days a week
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and consistently meet customer requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Diploma with 12-15 years of relevant production experience
- BE with 6-8 years of relevant production experience
- Additional training or certification in Safety
- Exposure to multinational manufacturing environments
- Experience in multi-product, multi-customer production environments
- Strong leadership capability with growth potential
- Self-motivated and result-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Innovative problem-solving mindset
- Strong team player with a continuous improvement approach
- Kannada, Hindi, and Tamil
