Job Summary
Manage supplier negotiations, should cost analysis, and product value engineering projects while developing the GMI Program. Support supply chain resilience by leveraging AI-assisted analysis of external risks and internal opportunities across indirect and direct spend. Work with key stakeholders to create cost reduction strategies, lead competitive bidding processes, and execute in-person contract negotiations for approvals up to $1,000,000. Develop category spend mastery, drive savings outcomes, and prepare analytical reports to influence decision-making. Lead the procurement team in achieving sustainability initiatives and streamline sourcing processes through project management and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree: Engineering, Science, Business, or Financial Degrees
- 4-6 years of Procurement experience in negotiation, contracting and sourcing
- Project management skills
- Power BI skills
- Data management skills
- Strong communication and people skills (written and verbal)
Desired Qualifications
- CPM certification
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification
- Master's degree
