Job Summary
Senior Specialist, Parts Logistics Process Improvement responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across the parts logistics function. Key duties include developing and optimizing end-to-end logistics processes (order fulfillment, transportation, warehousing, packaging), leading Lean/Six Sigma projects, standardizing processes across regions and teams, collaborating with IT to ensure tools (ERP/WMS/TMS) support workflow changes, and defining KPIs with dashboards to enable data-driven decisions. The role requires partnering with multiple functions (Parts Operations, Service Operations, IT) and may require in-person presence at Scout Motors HQ in Charlotte, NC, with travel for events as needed. Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years in parts logistics or process improvement, experience with ERP/WMS/TMS, strong analytical and communication skills, and a track record in continuous improvement and project management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in parts logistics, supply chain operations, or process improvement
- Experience working with ERP/WMS/TMS systems
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Project management experience
- Analytical skills with experience in data tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma (certifications preferred)
- Knowledge of process governance and documentation standards
- Ability to travel and work in office environment 4-5 days per week
- Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making
