Job Summary
Senior Specialist of Environmental Health & Safety responsible for leading and executing the organization’s EHS strategy across resort operations, with duties including safety-training compliance, program adherence, coaching leaders on EHS initiatives, incident notification and response, return-to-work support, partnerships with medical providers, conducting audits and inspections, and collaborating with regulatory and external partners to maintain world-class safety performance. Requires a Bachelor’s or higher in EHS, supervisory experience, and familiarity with safety analytics tools; travel to multiple resorts may be required; skiing/snowboarding ability is preferred. Total compensation target is $65,000–$70,000 with comprehensive benefits and potential in-person/in-office requirements as policies may change.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, or equivalent
- Supervisory Experience including safety committees, teams, or equivalent
- Experience with safety management software and systems
- Knowledge and experience with return-to-work programs
- Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level
