Job Summary
Support the operations of the OMA Negotiations Task Force by leading bilateral negotiations, managing project planning processes including trackers and timelines, and monitoring deliverables from initiation to close-out. Synthesize complex information across departments to prepare presentations, reports, briefing documents, and critiques of proposals while ensuring the Task Force identifies solutions to emerging conflicts. Monitor policy changes and system issues affecting physician compensation, develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and identify process improvement initiatives. Requires a Masters' degree in Health Administration, Economics, Business, or Political Science with four to five years of experience in research, committee operations, and project management. This role involves leading cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment within a hybrid Toronto office setting.
Required Qualifications
- Masters' degree in Health Administration, Economics, Business, Political Science or equivalent
- Four to Five years' experience in research, committee operations, analysis, and project management
- Ability to lead projects consisting of cross-functional resources through project plan and implementation in a fast paced environment
- Applied knowledge and experience in Ontario's health care sector
- PMP certification or formal project management training
- Experience in conflict resolution, and knowledge translation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Ability to build and manage relationships with both internal and external customers/stakeholders
- Supports the organization's commitment to respect equity, inclusion, diversity, and anti-racism
- Required to work a minimum number of days in our Toronto office
