Senior Specialist - IT Product Support

Job Summary
Gather functional requirements from business leaders and subject matter experts, translating objectives into technical specifications for the development team. Direct all development activities, influence technology decisions for moderately complex products, and validate deliverables with internal clients. Supervise team members, including offshore staff, while providing direction for ongoing maintenance of existing tools. Train new staff to support the team and ensure adherence to agreed deliverables. This role involves managing the full application lifecycle from development to execution within Marsh's global risk and reinsurance division.

- Provides direction for ongoing maintenance and support of existing tools
- Oversees support processes carried out by off-site teams
- Ensures allocation of proper resources
- Educates support teams as needed
- Communicates with business leaders and members of the IT team
- Supervises team members (may include offshore teams) and the development team members
- Trains new staff members to provide support
- All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week
