Job Summary
Senior Specialist II, MCS will serve as the key resource for providing answers during the implementation and migration processes, coordinating between hosting implementation resources and technical leadership. Will protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures. Engage in recurring external client calls, virtual troubleshooting, and regular email cadence. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems. Monitor server performance and adjust as needed. Implement and operate server, storage and backup infrastructure; migrate, restore, and configure SQL databases between data centers; participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution. Manage the internal Confluence site; facilitate project turnover and hand off from implementation to client success; perform other duties to support the position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Software or related field (or any combination of education and experience providing the required qualifications)
- 7+ years cloud-based computing experience
- Experience with NextGen Healthcare Practice Management; Electronic Health Record or other PM systems and workflows
- General healthcare experience in Acute or Ambulatory settings
- AWS or cloud-based services experience
- Project Management experience (Mavenlink preferred)
- PMP certification
- AWS or cloud-based certification
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing, database management, and systems integrations
- Proficiency with SQL and tools such as Salesforce, SAP, Confluence, Jira, PowerBI, Mavenlink
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
