Job Summary
Senior Specialist II, HR Technology with deep Workday HCM expertise will serve as a senior SME at the intersection of HR systems and people analytics. You will build scalable reporting and analytics solutions, support workforce planning, translate workforce data into actionable HR/business insights, and ensure data integrity across HR platforms. Primary responsibilities include developing workforce dashboards and reports (Tableau, Power BI, Workday Prism Analytics), administering and configuring Workday modules (Core HR, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Time & Absence), supporting biannual Workday releases, driving HR data governance and data quality, enabling system integrations (APIs, EIBs, SFTP), and partnering with HR, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to automate processes, improve efficiency, and deliver stakeholder-ready insights. The role emphasizes training, documentation, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize the HR technology ecosystem, with deep expertise in Workday required and strong capabilities in analytics, reporting, and process optimization expected within a Chennai, India, in-person work environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years HR Technology/HRIS/People Analytics experience
- Hands-on Workday HCM administration and configuration
- Experience developing HR reporting, dashboards, workforce analytics
- Experience with HR system integrations and data management
- Strong proficiency in Workday Report Writer, dashboards, and data visualization tools
- Proficiency in SQL; Python or R a plus
- Understanding of HR data privacy, security, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA)
- Global HR operations and governance knowledge preferred
