Senior Specialist, Ground (Operations)

Job Summary
Manage daily airport operations for Malaysia and Laos stations, ensuring aircraft dispatches meet a minimum 98% On Time Performance (OTP) and leading outsourced vendors to adhere to company regulations. Handle flight delays and disruptions per SOPs while analyzing root causes to prevent recurrence and investigating incidents or complaints. Maintain effective communication with Head Office departments and external stakeholders including airport authorities and appointed vendors to execute service level agreements and audit vendor compliance. Perform regular self-audits of operational procedures, verify invoices charged to Scoot, and ensure ground safety regulations are practiced. Legally entitled to work in Singapore with a minimum diploma and 3-4 years of operations experience, fluent in English and a local language, with the ability to travel and work weekends. Based in Singapore HQ.
Required Qualifications
- Legally entitled to work in Singapore
- Minimum recognised diploma / degree
- Minimum of 3-4 years' working experience in managing operations, preferably in airport, airline or ground handling
- Fluent written, spoken and reading capability in English Language and another local language
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task under dynamic environment independently, manage multiple stakeholders and tasks effectively and think quickly on the feet
- Able to travel for work at short notice
- Able to work on weekends, public holidays
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and pleasant disposition, open to learning and discipline to function independently with minimal guidance
