Senior Specialist - Footwear Commercialization Engineer

Job Summary
Manage the commercialization process of assigned products by collaborating with factory personnel to ensure manufacturability, product integrity, and cost targets are met. Provide technical expertise for the transition of footwear designs into samples and production, overseeing tech package transfers from offshore Vietnam factories to Indonesian sites. Partner with the development team to review samples and pattern confirmations, then explain product requirements to factories to initiate production at the start of a purchase order. Drive sustainability initiatives and maintain quality standards across the end-to-end process from inline development to mass production at group factories in West Java.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years' experience in footwear engineering
- highly attentive to details, function and quality
- Good communication skill
- Fluent in English and Bahasa (Indonesia)
- An entrepreneurial and open mindset
- an eagerness for differentiation
- a natural push for excellence
- Able to balance creativity with organization and discipline in a fast-paced environment
- Able to travel on a regular basis between ON's manufacturing and development partners in Vietnam and Indonesia
