Job Summary
Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and accounting operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining cash forecasts, tracking project costs versus budget, supporting profitability analysis at the project level, preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reporting packages, analyzing results and providing variance explanations, assisting with month-end close and reconciliations, posting journal entries in IFRS, and driving improvements in reporting processes and data accuracy. The role requires strong accounting foundation, experience with debits/credits and general ledger, proficiency in Excel and financial systems, and effective cross-functional collaboration with accounting and operations teams. The position emphasizes ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and budgeting/forecasting cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting
- Strong accounting knowledge, including journal entries and general ledger processes
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
- Experience with project-based cost tracking strongly preferred
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly
