Senior Specialist, Events

Senior Specialist, Events at Skadden based in New York (hybrid) leads the planning and execution of internal Firm events across the full lifecycle, from concept through onsite delivery and post-event wrap-up. Responsibilities include scoping requirements and budgets, sourcing venues and negotiating hotel contracts with GC coordination, managing event logistics (catering, AV, transportation, registrations, materials, staffing), developing detailed project plans, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and providing onsite event management, post-event evaluations, and opportunities for process improvements. The role requires extensive knowledge of event planning and execution, expertise with Cvent and EMS, strong project management and communication skills, vendor management, budget tracking, and the ability to work independently within a team. A Bachelor's degree and at least five years of events experience in a professional services environment are required.
