Job Summary
Lead the site’s occupational/industrial hygiene program and provide technical EHS support for laboratory safety at the Worcester site. Develop and implement EHS programs, conduct qualitative and quantitative hygiene risk assessments, develop sampling strategies and technical reports, perform ergonomic assessments, deliver training, ensure regulatory and company EHS compliance, lead incident investigations, participate in process safety reviews and risk assessments for lab and process safety, and drive EHS improvement projects. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and regulations, identify process improvements, and communicate compliance status and KPIs to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve EHS objectives and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, and 3-5 years related industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in process safety and process safety management systems is required
- Experience working within a regulatory environment is required
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate in cross-functional teams
