Job Summary
Senior Specialist - Commercial Litigation based out of Brooklyn, OH or Amherst, NY with hybrid schedule (2 in-office days/week). Manages a portfolio of commercial accounts across multiple states through pre-litigation to judgment, reviewing litigation documents, updating internal systems, and advising on best actions. Independently reviews pleadings, tracks status of litigation, and provides sound recommendations; interfaces with management and outside counsel; supports project work and internal initiatives; prepares documentation for filings and for attorney payments, and ensures accurate invoicing. Requires ability to problem solve, communicate with clients and vendors, and manage multiple deadlines; PACER/CM-ECF navigation experience preferred; availability for overtime and weekend work as needed. Compensation includes base hourly rate range $20.67-$31.25 plus incentive compensation; in-office presence is prioritized with flexible options for mobile work. Location-specific postings list Brooklyn, OH and Amherst, NY with hybrid work expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years in litigation, legal support, or mortgage servicing related fields preferred
- Strong PC skills in Office365, Excel, and Adobe
- Pacer/CM-ECF navigation experience preferred
