Job Summary
Senior Special Inspector responsible for field inspections on commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects, performing code-required inspections including structural steel, bolting, welding, reinforced concrete, soils and foundations, and structural masonry; interpret building codes and construction documents, prepare detailed inspection reports, coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients, maintain documentation, and uphold safety standards while serving as a technical resource on job sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5+ years of experience in special inspections and/or construction inspections
- Multiple active ICC certifications: Soils, Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, Structural Steel & Bolting, Welding
