Job Summary
Senior Sourcing Specialist in Capital Projects executes source-to-contract procurement strategies for Indirect Capital subcategories, drives supplier management, SRM, and contract negotiations; leads RFP processes for capex, implements sustainability/ESG measures with suppliers, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver value and risk mitigation. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of procurement experience, with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; hybrid work arrangement located in Florham Park, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business or operations function
- Experience with capital expenditure (capex) projects or processes, including developing, evaluating, or managing RFP for Capital projects i.e. Construction, Production & Process Equipment etc.
- Previous experience in category management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Power Platform)
- Fast learner comfortable navigating across a range of industries and sectors
- High cross-functional collaboration abilities and teamwork skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, facilitating empathetic interactions, effective communication, and robust relationship-building across a matrixed organization
- Impactful executive functioning abilities and autonomous work ethic, maintaining efficient performance in challenging situations and building consensus in decision-making
