Job Summary
Senior Sourcing Program Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing across the full product lifecycle at Veeco, shaping sourcing decisions to improve cost, manufacturability, and scalability; drive milestones and supply readiness for launches; lead sourcing for product platforms; translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies in collaboration with Engineering to improve cost and continuity; act as the sourcing leader across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain; build and execute global supplier strategies, qualification, and NPI readiness; anticipate and mitigate risks across supply continuity, lead times, and technical execution; drive KPIs and deliver executive updates on readiness, risks, and progress; leverage strong negotiation, cross-functional coordination, and program-management skills to enable faster time-to-market for highly engineered semiconductor/capital equipment products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field required; MBA preferred
- At least 12 years of overall experience in sourcing, supply chain, program management, or a related field, with at least 5 years of demonstrated success leading strategic sourcing or supply chain execution in complex product development or manufacturing environments
- Strong command of product development lifecycles, from NPI through high-volume production
- Experience with highly engineered products, such as semiconductor, capital, or aerospace equipment
- Ability to translate technical requirements into sourcing and supplier strategies
- Strong program management, planning, risk management, and cross-functional coordination skills
- Ability to lead multiple programs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Advanced negotiation and supplier management expertise
- Strong analytical skills, including cost modeling and risk assessment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working across global supply chains and supplier networks
