Job Summary
Lead Tier 2 supplier risk management program across the global supplier network; develop and maintain end-to-end visibility of Tier 2 networks for critical commodities, identify single points of failure and capacity constraints, and collaborate with Tier 1 suppliers to improve transparency and performance. Establish structured risk assessment and mitigation (dual sourcing, localization, buffering), drive data-driven decisions with analytics, and oversee supplier development and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Quality), define KPIs and governance for the Tier 2 program, and lead war rooms during supply disruptions. Travel at least 10% and represent the company in industry initiatives related to supply chain resilience and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or Supply Chain Management or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in a relatively large supply chain organization
- Strong negotiation skills including experience negotiating multi-million dollar contracts
- Ability to travel a minimum of 10%
