Job Summary
Senior Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain and sourcing strategy for the bags and luggage category, including multi-sourcing for resilience; onboard manufacturing partners for Quince's D2C model and coach on rapid replenishment; implement operational excellence, financial modeling (ROIC), and technical integration via the Vendor Portal; drive KPIs such as defect rate under 0.5%, replenishment lead time under 14 days, and in-stock rate over 99%; lead catalog expansion with Merchandising; conduct structured QBRs with partners to align on performance and future objectives; collaborate across teams to optimize costs, manufacturing partnerships, and product development in APAC; requires a Bachelor's Degree (preferred) and 15+ years in senior sourcing/procurement roles with vendor management experience.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of director-level Strategic Sourcing or Procurement or Supplier Management experience with major US-based retailers
- Deep set of partner factory connections within bags and luggage in APAC
- Experience leveraging factories/vendor expertise to design, cost engineer, and bring products to market; knowledge of key materials localized in APAC
- GM mindset with a supply chain background and manufacturing (lean/ JIT) experience
- Ability to drive product cost savings through clean sheets and negotiation tactics
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical with focus on execution, problem-solving, process improvement and brand enhancement
- Business-savvy and comfortable with technology/AI
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- Experience with end-to-end supply chain strategy, multi-sourcing for resilience
- Onboarding manufacturing partners for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) models
- Experience with Vendor Portal and operating within rapid replenishment/multi-channel environments
- Knowledge of Key Material localization in APAC
- Experience with NPC (New Product Creation) processes
- Ability to conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with partners
- Strong focus on quality metrics (defect rate <0.5%), speed/accuracy (replenishment lead time <14 days), availability (in-stock >99%), and ROIC targets
