Job Summary
Senior Sourcing Engineer to lead procurement for electrical/electronic components, C-parts, and indirect materials; develop and implement category strategies; collaborate with global/ regional teams to align local operations with procurement goals; conduct supply market analyses to identify opportunities and optimize strategies; assess supplier capacity, capability, performance, and risk; work with R&D/Engineering to streamline NPI and resolve manufacturing challenges; drive cost-reduction/localization initiatives and monitor commodity price variances; ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance; provide regular data-driven updates on category localization projects and supplier performance; requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics or Mechatronics (or related field) and 5–6 years of experience in sourcing/procurement; willingness to travel; strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills; proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical & Electronics or Mechatronics or related technical field
- 5–6 years of experience in strategic Sourcing / Procurement, Supplier development, or engineering
- Strong knowledge of EMS processes, motor manufacturing, and zero-base costing
- Proven expertise in sourcing electrical/electronic components, C-parts & Indirect
