Senior Solutions Mobile Engineer

Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise mobile applications supporting real-time communication, offline operations, cloud-connected services, and peer-to-peer capabilities. Implement connected, disconnected, and offline-first capabilities while integrating applications with APIs, cloud services, and enterprise platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the mobile application stack, focusing on secure, scalable, and production-ready solutions. This role requires 8+ years of mobile development experience, including 4+ years with iOS and React Native, and the ability to obtain government clearance. The candidate will work closely with cloud, AI, and security teams to deliver software with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of overall mobile application development experience
- at least 4 years developing and deploying production applications for Apple iOS devices
- Experience developing and deploying production mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with Expo and related tooling, including Expo SDK, Expo Router, and Expo Modules
- Familiarity with modern React Native architecture concepts, including the New Architecture, JavaScript Interface (JSI), native module integration, and performance optimization techniques
- Working knowledge of native iOS development using Swift and Xcode sufficient to develop, extend, and integrate native capabilities when required
- Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs and cloud-hosted services
- Experience developing applications that support disconnected, low-connectivity, or intermittent-network environments
- Experience implementing secure mobile application solutions and data protection practices
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly design, develop, test, and deliver production-quality software with minimal supervision
- Experience working in small, collaborative engineering teams where individuals contribute across multiple technical disciplines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise system integrations
- Experience with AI, translation, speech processing, OCR, or related technologies
- Experience implementing peer-to-peer, Bluetooth, proximity-based, or device-to-device communication capabilities
- Experience with DevSecOps, automated testing, modern software delivery practices, and AI-assisted software engineering tools
- Experience with .NET-based mobile development frameworks and technologies
- Experience supporting secure enterprise or government mobile applications, including existing DHS suitability, Public Trust, or similar credentials
