Job Summary
Senior Solutions Engineer in the MEA Pre-Sales team (Qatar & S.Africa Fly-in) responsible for shaping Data & AI strategies for customer accounts, defining transformation roadmaps, and delivering technical and business value across regions. Lead strategic engagements, author reference architectures and demos, and drive account growth while collaborating with extended teams. Requires 5+ years of pre-sales/technical customer experience, expertise in solution architecture across Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and Data Science, cloud platform experience (Databricks, AWS, GCP, Azure), and proficiency in Python/Java/Scala with Spark knowledge. Travel up to ~2 weeks per month; location is within commutable distance of the Paris office with hybrid work arrangement; English required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in technical customer interactions or pre-sales
- experience delivering complex solution architectures
- proficiency with AI Agents and Big Data Analytics
- hands-on programming in Python, Java, or Scala
- foundational understanding of Apache Spark; hands-on skills favorable
- willingness to travel regionally (up to ~2 weeks per month)
- ability to engage with Business and Technical stakeholders
- strong English communication skills
