Job Summary
Senior Solutions Engineer responsible for driving new business by identifying products, solutions, and services to meet customer needs; develops technical strategies, leads complex design of integrated solutions, provides POC guidance, and collaborates with sales to align solutions with customer goals; role involves mentoring other engineers, engaging with strategic clients at executive level, and presenting at conferences/webinars. Requires extensive pre-sales IT experience, deep product knowledge across networking, security, cloud, and SaaS, and strong architecture skills in web protocols, programming, and large-scale deployments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related areas, or equivalent level of experience
- 8+ years’ pre-sales experience in the IT industry
- expertise in networking, application delivery, security, cloud and SaaS technologies
- expert level understanding of Web Protocols and application architectures (HTTP/TLS/SSL)
- programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Golang, etc.)
- Kubernetes concepts and architectures
- Advanced knowledge of Data Center, Virtualization, Cloud computing environments, Solution Performance, and Sizing
- Expert in Solution designs for large-scale environments and Vertical Market solutions
