Job Summary
Senior Solutions Architect - Strategic Accounts at Postman focusing on enterprise relationships and API platform adoption. Responsible for technical leadership, strategic advisory, and growth within marquee accounts. Collaborates with Sales, CS, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to align Postman's API platform with customer goals, drive successful outcomes across the API lifecycle, and influence roadmaps. Travel ~30-40% and based in London, UK. Requires deep API knowledge (REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI), security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO/SAML), DevOps tooling, and scripting (JavaScript/Python). Strong communication, executive presence, and ability to translate technical challenges into business value.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, Enterprise Consultant) with a track record working with Fortune 500 or large-scale global enterprises
- Based in London, UK
- Must be fluent in French, Spanish or Portuguese
- Proven ability to drive enterprise adoption of API platforms and deliver measurable impact
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, GraphQL, OpenAPI/Swagger
- Experience with API governance frameworks, schema standardization, and lifecycle management
- API security protocols: OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, SSO/SAML integrations
- Hands-on experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD systems; familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Ability to develop custom scripts or integrations using JavaScript or Python
- Strong business acumen and executive presence; ability to translate technical challenges into business opportunities
- Experience leading customer-facing workshops and strategic roadmap reviews
- Willingness to travel ~30-40%
- Excellent communication across engineering, product, security, and executive stakeholders
