Job Summary
Senior Solutions Architect within the Sales team who becomes a product expert on Paddle’s solution suite (checkout, dashboard, APIs) and collaborates with enterprises to design and implement integrations. Responsibilities include building integration plans and sample code with vendors, supporting Account Executives on customer calls to win new business, helping onboard and launch customers, acting as a product expert and communicating issues/feature requests to Product and Engineering, and contributing to public/internal documentation. The role requires experience in sales engineering or solutions architecture for complex, enterprise clients, a mix of technologies (full/partial stack development, frameworks, API interfaces, ETLs/iPaaS, integration layers), API integration experience, and ideally expertise in payments, accounting practices, and/or subscription management. Strong interpersonal and customer-management skills and the ability to discuss technical concepts with diverse audiences are also expected.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales engineering or solutions architecture with enterprise-level clients
- Solid experience across technologies: full or partial stack development, development frameworks, API interfaces, integration tools (ETLs, iPaaS), built-in integration layers
- Experience using and integrating APIs
- Ideally demonstrated expertise in payments, accounting practices, and/or subscription management
- Strong interpersonal and customer management skills from customer-facing roles
- Ability to discuss technical concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences
