Job Summary
Senior Solutions Architect (Infiniband and Networking Ethernet) at NVIDIA leads design and deployment of AI/HPC networking for large-scale data centers. Responsibilities include building AI/HPC infrastructure, supporting reliability and performance at scale, monitoring, incident lifecycle from inception to deployment, and providing feedback to engineering on issues and improvements. Requires deep experience in data-center networking, InfiniBand and Ethernet, EVPN/BGP/OSPF/VXLAN, automation via Ansible/Salt/Python, and CI/CD for network operations; customer-facing with strong communication. Desirable cloud, Linux certifications, HPC architectures, schedulers, and GPU-focused workloads.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields
- At least 8 years of professional experience in networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, and data center architecture
- Proficiency in configuring, testing, validating, and resolving issues in LAN and InfiniBand networks
- Advanced knowledge of EVPN, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN
- Hands-on experience with network switch/router platforms like Cumulus Linux, SONiC, IOS, JunosOS, EOS
- Extensive experience delivering automated network provisioning solutions using Ansible, Salt, and Python
- Ability to develop CI/CD pipelines for network operations
- Strong customer-facing skills
- English communication proficiency
- Familiarity with cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
- Linux or Networking Certifications
- Experience with HPC architectures
- Understanding of job schedulers (Slurm, PBS)
- BCM (Base Command Manager) knowledge
- GPU-focused hardware/software experience
