Job Summary
Senior Solutions Architect at Equinix responsible for strategic sales support, technology and solution-based thought leadership, and development of repeatable offers across Network, Data Center and Cloud/IT infrastructure. Drives account technology strategy with Account Executives, conducts customer workshops and presentations, builds business cases and solution benefits, and partners with cross-functional teams (CIO/CTO/CMO/CSO) to influence technology roadmaps, new products, and commercial considerations. Requires deep expertise in networking, data centers, and enterprise IT, with a track record in solutions selling and delivering compelling, revenue-driving solutions. Strong focus on market trends, technology research, and development of content for proposals, marketing studies, and sales enablement.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in the functional domains of Network, Datacentre, Enterprise IT Systems, including implementation and technical support preferred
- 7+ years of Solutions Selling in a commercial pre-sales position preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline preferred
- Advanced industry certifications (e.g. Cisco, VMware, MS, AWS) preferred
