Senior Solution Specialist, People Systems

Job Summary
Be the subject matter expert for Compensation and Core HCM processes, supporting change requests, enhancements, and issue resolution across Workday modules. Perform system administration functions including configuration, security management, complex report configuration, and bulk data processing. Manage system life cycles by assisting in the review, testing, and implementation of new features, fixes, and releases. Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps, and recommend scalable solutions while driving process improvement and automation opportunities. Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation to ensure effective adoption of new processes. Report to the Solution Manager II at Grabber Technology Solutions in Petaling Jaya, requiring 5+ years of Workday experience with hands-on configuration and Advanced Compensation cycle support.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Workday experience with strong hands-on knowledge of Core HCM and Compensation
- Experience supporting at least 1–2 Advanced Compensation cycles or launches
- Experience with Workday configuration, business processes, testing, and UAT
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday reporting, analytics, EIB, and security administration
- Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Workday Pro certification in Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Reporting, or other relevant Workday modules
- Experience leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, analysis, and solution delivery
- Experience in additional Workday modules such as Recruiting, Security, Peakon, or Journeys
- Experience supporting change management, training, or release readiness activities
- Experience working with regional or cross-functional stakeholders in a complex organisation
- Knowledge of audit and data privacy requirements in enterprise systems
